Privacy Policy
How QuizTell handles local progress, backups, AI prompts, provider data, future accounts, cookies, advertising and privacy choices.
1. Scope, controller, and relationship to the Terms
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how the operator of QuizTell (“QuizTell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit or use the QuizTell website at quiztell.com, permanent quiz library, Daily Quiz, AI Quiz, progress and backup features, account and contact interfaces, and related pages and services (the “Service”).
QuizTell determines the purposes and means of the personal-information processing described in this Policy and acts as controller or business where applicable. Service providers may process information for us under their contracts, laws, and published policies. Some providers also make independent decisions for their own security, legal, billing, or service operations.
This Policy should be read with the Terms of Service. It covers the current product behavior described below. A reference to a planned feature does not mean that the feature is enabled, and this Policy does not authorize collection for a future feature before the product, notice, legal basis, and controls are ready.
We will publish the controller's legal identity, service address, and operational privacy contact before offering the Service generally in a market that requires those details. The Contact Us page reports whether message delivery is currently available; an unavailable or not-configured response means the message was not delivered.
2. Current feature and data-status summary
The following summary distinguishes current processing from interfaces or business features that are prepared but not active. The detailed sections control if a summary is incomplete.
- Current: quiz scores, progress, a pseudonymous player ID, preferences, Daily records, and recent history are stored in your browser under “quiz.records.v1.” After Google sign-in, QuizTell also synchronizes verified completed non-AI rounds and bounded wrong-answer references to the signed-in player's Cloudflare Durable Object.
- Current but disabled at launch: if AI Quiz is enabled and accepts a request, the brief and selected difficulty are sent to the QuizTell Worker and then to DeepSeek to generate one ten-question round; completed AI results remain browser-local and are not synchronized as verified permanent-library rounds.
- Current: Cloudflare serves static assets and runs the Worker, so it may process IP address, routing, request, device/network, security, and traffic information as described below.
- Current: Google sign-in uses Google Identity Services. QuizTell verifies Google's ID token, stores a Google subject-derived internal account key, display name, optional avatar URL, public player ID, completed-round summaries and capped wrong-answer references, and issues a signed secure session cookie. QuizTell does not issue a separate password. Self-service account deletion is not yet available.
- Not configured: delivery or application storage of Contact Us and correction messages.
- Not active in the current Service: advertising scripts, analytics scripts, a consent-management platform, payment processing, and sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Static content: ordinary question JSON, media, and site assets are published files and do not contain a player's account record or browser-local progress.
3. Categories of information
Depending on which current or future feature you use, QuizTell may handle information you provide, information generated by your activity, information stored on your device, and technical information processed automatically to deliver and secure the Service.
Information you may provide includes an AI Quiz brief; selected quiz settings; a display name; limited Google profile information after OAuth is enabled; a name, email, reason, message, and acknowledgement entered into Contact Us; a correction report; feedback; or other information you choose to submit.
Activity and generated information may include the quiz selected, mode, difficulty, score, number correct, best run, duration, date, Daily status, AI-round status, play count, total points, rank, generated questions and answers, and interaction with Service pages or endpoints.
Technical information may include IP address, request time, URL, method, response status, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, browser or device characteristics, system configuration, language, network and routing information, error or performance information, and signals used to detect abuse or security threats.
QuizTell is not designed to collect sensitive personal information through quiz prompts, account previews, or general contact fields. Do not provide government identifiers, financial-account data, authentication secrets, health or biometric data, precise location, confidential records, information about a child, or private information about another person unless a feature expressly requires it and supplies an appropriate notice.
4. Browser-local quiz records
QuizTell currently stores a versioned progress record in your browser's local storage under the key “quiz.records.v1.” The record can include a display name, a pseudonymous player ID, total points, best streak, round count, per-topic and per-difficulty best scores, play counts, Daily completion and scores, and up to 40 recent round-history entries.
A history entry may contain an internal result ID, quiz slug and title, mode, difficulty, score, number correct, total questions, best run, duration, local calendar date, Daily status, and whether the round was generated by AI. A display name and player number are game labels, not verified real-world identity.
QuizTell reads this record to show Progress, ranks, history, local play counts and personal bests, Daily check-ins, and parts of navigation. Anonymous records remain local. After Google sign-in, each newly completed permanent-library or Daily round is sent once to the Worker, checked against the named published quiz bank, re-scored by the Worker, and then written to the signed-in player's bounded cloud record.
Local storage belongs to your browser profile. Other people with access to the same browser profile or device may be able to view or copy the record. Private browsing, storage settings, browser cleanup, device replacement, corruption, or importing another backup may remove or replace it.
You can remove the local record by clearing QuizTell site data in your browser. Clearing data is normally irreversible unless you previously exported a backup. Browser vendors may retain information under their own synchronization, backup, enterprise, or device policies outside QuizTell's control.
5. Progress export and import
The Progress page can export the complete browser-local QuizTell record as a JSON file. The exported file can contain every category listed in the browser-local record section, including the display name, player ID and recent detailed history.
The file is created in your browser and downloaded to the location controlled by your browser, operating system, device, or storage provider. QuizTell does not receive the export merely because you download it. Once exported, the file is under your control and may be copied, backed up, indexed, synchronized, or exposed according to your device and storage settings.
When you choose a backup to import, your browser reads the file locally, validates the expected record shape, and writes a valid record to QuizTell local storage. The current import flow does not upload the backup to the QuizTell Worker or a database.
A successful import replaces the current browser-local record. QuizTell may reject an invalid or incompatible file but does not verify the truth, ownership, or origin of values inside a structurally valid backup. Avoid importing files from people or sources you do not trust.
6. AI Quiz requests and generated results
When you start an AI Quiz, the browser sends the text brief and selected difficulty to the same-origin QuizTell Worker. The Worker trims the brief to a maximum of 600 characters, validates the difficulty, and sends the brief, difficulty instructions, and a system instruction to DeepSeek's API. The selected game mode is used by QuizTell for play but is not part of the current model request.
DeepSeek processes the request and returns a title and generated question set. The Worker checks that the response has the expected structure, trims returned text, and sends the result to your browser. The response is marked “no-store” by the QuizTell Worker, and the QuizTell application does not currently save the prompt or generated question set in an application database.
If you complete the round, a local history entry and score can be stored in the browser-local record. That result can identify the round as AI-generated and include the generated title, but the current local history schema does not store the complete original brief or all generated question text.
The Worker uses a timeout and may return error information when the provider is unavailable, the response is invalid, or generation takes too long. Operational security or provider systems may still process request metadata even when a request fails.
AI Quiz does not make a legal or similarly significant decision about you. Scores and generated answers are for entertainment and informal learning and are not used by QuizTell for employment, credit, housing, education admission, medical, insurance, or other consequential eligibility decisions.
7. DeepSeek processing and AI privacy limits
DeepSeek is the current model provider for AI Quiz. DeepSeek's Open Platform Terms place responsibility on the downstream application operator to explain personal-information processing to end users and to have consent or another lawful basis where required. DeepSeek's general consumer Privacy Policy does not replace this QuizTell Policy for your use of AI Quiz.
DeepSeek receives the brief and selected difficulty instructions, along with standard API request information created by the QuizTell Worker. QuizTell does not intentionally send your complete browser-local progress, account password, contact message, or advertising profile to DeepSeek unless you place that information in the brief yourself.
DeepSeek's published Privacy Policy states that personal data for its covered services may be processed and stored in the People's Republic of China, retained according to purpose, type, sensitivity, legal requirements, legitimate business interests, safety and claims, and used to operate, secure, develop, and improve services and technology. Its policy also warns against submitting sensitive personal data and information about children.
DeepSeek's public Open Platform Terms reviewed for this Policy do not promise that downstream API inputs are never retained or never used for model or technology improvement. QuizTell therefore does not promise provider-side zero retention, no training, or deletion on a fixed schedule. If a specific contractual control is later obtained and enabled, this Policy will be updated to describe it accurately.
Do not identify yourself or another person in a prompt unless it is genuinely necessary and lawful. Do not include secrets, confidential material, personal data about a child, or sensitive personal information. Your prompt may be subject to provider security, abuse, legal, and service operations beyond QuizTell's direct control.
8. Hosting, request, and security information
QuizTell uses Cloudflare to deliver static assets and to run dynamic Worker endpoints. When you access the Service, Cloudflare may process information including IP address, traffic-routing data, system configuration, request URL and method, response status, browser or device information, language, network information, and other traffic to and from the Service.
Cloudflare describes End User information made available to a customer through its dashboard or interface as Customer Logs. Cloudflare also creates Network Data, such as service availability, request volume, error and cache rates, malware characteristics, and IP threat scores, for operation, reliability, and security.
QuizTell and Cloudflare may use technical information to deliver requested pages and endpoints, route traffic, prevent abuse, apply limits, troubleshoot errors, investigate incidents, protect the Service and providers, maintain reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Cloudflare's public policy states that it acts as a processor for Customer Logs and content that transits or is stored through covered services, while it may act in other roles for its own account, network, legal, and security operations. Cloudflare has its own privacy notice and data-transfer mechanisms.
The exact technical fields and retention available to QuizTell depend on the enabled Cloudflare products and account configuration. This Policy does not claim that every possible Cloudflare field is collected for every request or that one universal retention period applies.
9. Google sign-in, sessions, and synchronized progress
QuizTell offers Google sign-in through Google Identity Services. Google supplies a signed ID token containing a stable account subject and may supply a display name and avatar URL. QuizTell verifies the signature, issuer, audience and expiry, uses the subject as the private account key, and does not use the email address as the account identifier.
After successful sign-in, QuizTell issues a signed HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax session cookie with a maximum age of 30 days. The cookie contains a signed private subject reference and expiry; it does not contain your Google password or Google access token. Signing out clears the QuizTell session cookie but does not sign you out of Google.
The cloud player record is isolated by Google subject and contains a public player ID, display name, optional avatar URL, totals and streaks, up to 40 recent completed-round summaries, up to 200 deduplicated wrong-answer references, and up to 256 processed round IDs for duplicate protection. Wrong-answer records reference the immutable question release rather than copying the full question and media.
QuizTell does not ask you to create a separate password. Self-service cloud-account deletion is not yet available; an operational privacy contact must be added before deletion requests can be handled through the Service.
10. Prepared Contact Us and correction interface
Contact Us currently presents fields for name, email, reason, message, and acknowledgement. Reasons include question correction, product feedback, account support, privacy, advertising, and other inquiries.
If you submit the form while delivery is unconfigured, the browser sends the fields to the same-origin QuizTell Worker. The Worker checks the method and request origin and returns an explicit not-configured response before the QuizTell application parses, stores, forwards, or delivers the message. A not-configured response means that QuizTell did not receive a usable support or privacy request.
The request still traverses the network and Cloudflare infrastructure. Do not use an unavailable form for a time-sensitive legal notice, security report, privacy deadline, or emergency and do not include passwords, authentication codes, payment information, or unnecessary sensitive data.
If contact delivery is enabled, QuizTell may process the submitted fields, delivery status, timestamps, response history, attachments if introduced, and abuse/security metadata to route and answer the request, investigate a correction, protect the form, document consent or instructions, and meet legal obligations. We will add the provider, retention period, and available contact method to this Policy before enabling delivery.
11. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
The current Service uses browser local storage for the local QuizTell record described above. Local storage is a storage/access technology even though it is not a traditional cookie. You can control it through the Progress features and browser settings, subject to the consequences described in this Policy.
Necessary cookies or similar technologies may be introduced for an enabled account session, security, load balancing, consent preferences, or another feature requested by you. We will describe their purposes and duration when they are enabled.
The current Service does not load advertising, analytics, or consent-management scripts and does not provide a custom consent interface. Before a non-exempt technology is enabled in a jurisdiction requiring consent, we will provide clear information, the required choices before access or storage, records of the choice where required, and a way to withdraw as easily as consent was given.
Acceptance of the Terms or continued browsing is not treated as consent to unrelated optional advertising or analytics storage where applicable law requires a specific choice. Rejecting optional technology will not block necessary or otherwise legally exempt storage, but an affected optional feature may work differently.
12. Advertising status and future advertising data
QuizTell is being prepared for possible third-party advertising, including Google AdSense or AdX, but the current application does not load advertising scripts or placements. This section explains the intended boundary; it does not represent advertising as active.
If advertising is enabled, an advertising provider may process IP address, approximate location, browser and device characteristics, page URL, referrer, timestamps, consent state, ad requests, impressions, interactions, identifiers, and signals used for contextual or personalized advertising, frequency control, measurement, security, and invalid-traffic detection.
QuizTell will not intentionally provide account passwords, authentication codes, complete browser-local progress, AI prompts, or quiz answers to an advertising provider for ad personalization. A page URL or page context may still reveal the general page or quiz topic, so we will assess ad placement and sensitive-topic rules before enabling advertising.
Where the Google EU User Consent Policy or applicable law applies, QuizTell must obtain legally valid consent for covered cookies or local storage and for collection, sharing, or use of personal data for ad personalization; retain consent records; identify relevant parties; provide accessible information about their use; and give clear revocation instructions.
If you reject personalized advertising, QuizTell may still display contextual advertising or permit limited processing for delivery, security, fraud prevention, frequency control, or measurement where permitted. The exact choices must match the provider and consent-platform configuration actually deployed.
13. Analytics and measurement status
The current application does not load a first-party or third-party analytics script. QuizTell therefore does not currently claim account-level analytics profiles, advertising-attribution profiles, or analytics cookies.
Cloudflare may still create operational and security Network Data as part of delivering and protecting the Service. Browser-local play records are used on the device to support product features and sorting; that local use is distinct from sending analytics events to a remote analytics provider.
If analytics is enabled, we will update this Policy with the provider, event categories, identifiers, purpose, retention, legal basis, regional controls, and relationship to advertising. Consent will be requested before non-exempt analytics storage or access where required.
We may use aggregated or reasonably de-identified operational information for reliability, capacity, security, and product understanding where permitted. We will not describe information as de-identified if we reasonably retain a means to link it back to an identifiable person.
14. Purposes for using information
We process information to provide the feature you request, including delivering pages and static content, recording progress locally, exporting or importing a local backup, generating an AI Quiz, displaying results, and preparing a response from a configured endpoint.
We process technical and limited activity information to authenticate or secure enabled features, route and rate-limit requests, detect and prevent abuse, invalid traffic and fraud, troubleshoot failures, protect users and providers, maintain availability, enforce the Terms, and investigate incidents or rights complaints.
When the relevant feature is enabled, we may process information to create and manage accounts, synchronize selected progress, verify acceptance, provide recovery, deliver contact and correction requests, respond to support or privacy requests, and keep records necessary to demonstrate instructions or compliance.
Subject to the status and choices described above, we may process information to measure and improve the Service, understand aggregate use, correct content, select or measure advertising, and remember consent or preference choices.
We may process information to comply with law, lawful process, and regulatory obligations; protect rights, safety, and property; prevent or address unlawful activity; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and manage a corporate reorganization or transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
15. Legal bases
Where a law such as the GDPR or UK GDPR requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the purpose and context. We may rely on performance of a contract or steps you request to provide AI generation, an enabled account, support, or another feature you ask us to perform.
We may rely on legitimate interests to deliver and improve a secure, reliable, abuse-resistant Service; maintain content quality; understand operational performance; prevent fraud or invalid traffic; protect legal rights; and administer the Service, after considering the impact on users. You may have a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
We rely on consent where required for optional cookies or similar technologies, personalized advertising, certain analytics, or another purpose presented as optional. You may withdraw consent prospectively without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We may rely on a legal obligation for records, disclosures, responses, or cooperation required by law and on protection of vital interests in a genuine emergency. Other jurisdiction-specific bases may apply where recognized by law.
Providing an AI brief is necessary to generate the requested quiz. Providing local progress is optional because you can avoid or clear local storage, although Progress and history will not work normally. Future account or contact fields will be marked required or optional according to the feature. Do not provide information to a feature that reports it is unavailable.
16. Service providers and sharing
We share or make information available only as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes, at your direction, or as permitted or required by law. Current named providers include Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, Worker execution and security, and DeepSeek for AI Quiz generation.
Cloudflare may receive Service traffic and technical information as described in the hosting section. DeepSeek receives the AI request content and related API information described in the AI sections. These providers may use subprocessors and may process information in multiple countries under their contracts and policies.
Future provider categories may include authentication and databases, email or contact delivery, security and human-verification services, consent management, analytics, and advertising. A category listed here is not proof that a provider is active. We will update the feature and this Policy before materially new processing starts where required.
Providers receive information reasonably necessary for their role and may be restricted by contract, instructions, confidentiality, security, or data-protection terms where applicable. Their independent processing, including account administration, legal compliance, abuse prevention, billing, or network security, is also governed by their own notices and applicable law.
We do not sell provider access to passwords, AI prompts, local progress, or contact messages. If the business model or provider configuration later creates a covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising disclosure, the applicable notice and opt-out controls must be provided before or at collection as required.
17. Legal disclosures and business transfers
We may preserve, access, or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, regulation, court order, subpoena, lawful government request, or other valid process; enforce the Terms; investigate fraud, security, abuse, or rights claims; protect a person's safety or rights; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We will assess requests according to applicable law and may seek to narrow, challenge, or notify you of a request where appropriate and legally permitted. Nothing in this Policy promises notice when notice is prohibited, impracticable, or could increase risk.
Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of due diligence, financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, insolvency, sale of assets, or transfer of the Service. A recipient must handle personal information consistently with this Policy or provide notice of materially different processing where required.
We may share information with professional advisers, insurers, auditors, and investigators where reasonably necessary and subject to appropriate duties or restrictions.
18. International processing and transfers
QuizTell is accessible across borders, and providers may process information outside the country where you live. Privacy and access laws in those locations may differ from your local law.
Cloudflare states that it is a United States-based global company, primarily stores information in the United States and EEA, and may access or transfer information globally using its published transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
DeepSeek states that personal data covered by its Privacy Policy may be directly collected, processed, and stored in the People's Republic of China and that it uses appropriate safeguards where required. AI Quiz requests therefore may involve an international transfer to or processing in China.
Where required for a transfer subject to EEA, UK, Swiss, or similar law, we and relevant providers may rely on an adequacy decision, data-privacy framework, standard contractual clauses, contractual safeguards, consent, necessity, or another lawful transfer mechanism. Availability of a mechanism and any supplementary measures depend on the parties, countries, and current law.
You should not submit sensitive or unnecessary personal information through AI Quiz. If the required transfer safeguards or provider configuration cannot be established for a market, we may restrict the affected feature there.
19. Retention
Browser-local progress remains in the browser profile until you clear or replace it, the browser removes it, or a device/storage event makes it unavailable. The application caps recent history at 40 entries but may retain aggregate totals, bests, play counts, and Daily records in the local record until the record is cleared or replaced.
Exported backup files remain wherever you or your device, browser, backup, or storage provider place them. QuizTell cannot delete a copy it does not possess. Imported file contents become the new local record, while other copies remain under the controls of the systems holding them.
The current QuizTell application does not intentionally persist AI prompts or complete generated question sets in its own database. The Worker marks the response “no-store,” but Cloudflare, DeepSeek, network, security, and legal systems may retain request data or metadata under their configurations, contracts, policies, legitimate interests, and legal obligations. QuizTell does not promise one provider-side retention period.
Current account and contact endpoints reject submissions before the QuizTell application parses or stores the bodies. Infrastructure may still process transport and security information. If those features are enabled, this Policy must add category-specific retention for account, session, verification, support, consent, security, and deletion records.
We retain information we control only as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose, security, dispute resolution, legal claims, and legal obligations, considering amount, nature, sensitivity, risk, technical limits, and whether the purpose can be achieved with less data. Deletion requests remain subject to verification and lawful exceptions.
20. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the current Service, which may include same-origin checks on prepared form endpoints, secret-backed server-side provider calls, request validation, output validation, timeouts, no-store responses for dynamic endpoints, provider security controls, and limiting persistent application storage.
No Internet transmission, browser storage, provider, or security measure is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, lost, altered, disclosed, or unavailable. Security controls and risks change as features and providers change.
Protect access to your device, browser profile, downloads, backups, email, and any future account. Do not reuse passwords, expose backup files publicly, place secrets in AI prompts or contact fields, or import untrusted files. Notify us through an available channel if you believe the Service has exposed information or an enabled account has been compromised.
If a breach triggers a legal notice obligation, we will provide notice to affected people or authorities in the manner and time required by applicable law, using the reliable contact information then available.
21. Your product and browser controls
You can avoid creating local progress by not completing rounds or by blocking site storage, although parts of Progress, Daily completion, personal bests, ranking, and local sorting may not work. You can inspect or remove QuizTell storage through browser developer or site-data controls.
You can export a machine-readable copy of the current browser-local record and can replace it by importing a structurally valid backup. Clearing site data removes the active browser copy but does not delete exported files or copies held by a browser, device, backup, or other person.
You control what you type into AI Quiz. Do not submit personal information that is unnecessary for the topic. Leaving or closing the page does not guarantee that a request already sent to Cloudflare and DeepSeek is cancelled or deleted from provider systems.
When an applicable consent platform is enabled, you will be able to accept or reject relevant optional purposes and revisit the choice. Browser or device signals such as Global Privacy Control will be honored where they constitute a valid request and applicable law requires the Service to honor them.
You may use browser controls to block third-party requests, cookies, scripts, or ads, but doing so may affect a feature. A technical block does not by itself submit every privacy request available under law; use the designated operational request method when one is available.
22. Privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may have rights to know whether we process personal information; access or receive a copy; correct inaccurate information; delete information; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; opt out of covered sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling; appeal a decision; and complain to a regulator.
Some information is already under your direct control because it exists only in your browser or exported files. For that data, local export and deletion controls may be the fastest and only technically available method. We cannot access or delete a browser-local record or file that was never transmitted to us.
For information processed by providers on our behalf, we may need to coordinate with the provider. A request may require enough information to identify the relevant request, date, feature, browser, account, or provider record. We will not ask for more identity information than reasonably necessary for verification and fraud prevention.
Rights are not absolute. We may deny, limit, or retain information where verification fails or law permits or requires it, including for security, service delivery, legal obligations, claims, rights of others, or requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive. Where required, we will explain a denial and available appeal or complaint route.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. An optional feature may stop or work differently if the processing necessary for that feature is deleted, restricted, or refused.
The Contact Us page can receive a rights request only after it reports delivery as available. A not-configured response is not a submitted request. We will publish a working privacy email, form, or other legally sufficient method before offering the Service generally in a market requiring an operational request channel.
23. US state privacy, sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
The CCPA and other US state privacy laws apply only when their coverage tests are met. If QuizTell is subject to one of those laws, eligible residents receive the rights and notices required by that law, subject to verification and statutory exceptions.
The current Service does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process it for targeted advertising. It also does not use automated processing to make legal or similarly significant decisions about a person.
If future advertising or provider arrangements create a covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity, QuizTell will update this Policy and provide the required opt-out method, privacy-choice link, and recognition of qualifying browser opt-out signals before or when the activity begins. We will not ask you to waive a right that applicable law makes non-waivable.
If sensitive personal information is later processed beyond uses permitted without a limitation right, QuizTell will provide the notice and limitation control required by applicable law. The current product instructs users not to submit sensitive personal information and does not use it for advertising personalization.
California residents may have conditional rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and receive equal treatment. Applicable response periods, designated methods, appeals, and exceptions will be followed when coverage and request scope are confirmed rather than promised universally to every visitor.
24. Children
QuizTell is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. A higher minimum age may apply where local law requires it for independent consent. People below the age of legal majority should use the Service only with lawful parent or guardian permission and supervision.
Do not submit a child's name, contact details, location, school information, image, private history, or other personal information in an AI prompt, contact field, correction report, or future account without a lawful basis and any required parental authorization.
If we learn that personal information was collected from a child contrary to this Policy or applicable law, we will investigate and take appropriate steps, which may include restricting the feature, deleting information we control, and asking a provider to delete or restrict provider-held information where required and technically available.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information should use the operational privacy contact once available and include only the information reasonably necessary to identify the event. Do not send additional sensitive information through a channel that reports it is unconfigured.
25. Third-party notices, changes, and contact
External links, media sources, advertisers, and provider pages have their own terms and privacy notices. QuizTell does not control an external site's collection, storage, security, cookies, advertising, or rights process. Review the applicable notice before providing information there.
We may update this Policy when the Service, provider roles, account or contact status, advertising or analytics configuration, retention, legal requirements, or business structure changes. The posted Last Updated date identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material new use takes effect.
If a change is only planned, the current-status summary will continue to identify it as inactive until the corresponding runtime and controls are enabled. We will not rely on a revised Policy alone to activate consent-dependent technology.
Privacy questions, rights requests, child-privacy concerns, and complaints may be submitted through the Contact Us page after delivery is confirmed available. We will not offer the Service generally in a jurisdiction that requires a direct privacy contact until an operational method and controller details are published.
You may also have the right to complain to the privacy or data-protection authority where you live, work, or believe a violation occurred. Contacting us first is welcome but is not required where applicable law gives you a direct complaint right.
